We Keep The Trophy
Congratulations to our Warren Band and Color Guard who were victorious this Thursday night as they took on Downey High’s Band and Color Guard at the 3rd Annual Battle of the Bands! Both schools performed in areas of field show, color guard, drumline and pep bands. This marks the 3rd consecutive win for our band and color guard program! Great job, students! A huge thank you goes out to the Downey Band Boosters for hosting this year’s event. We look forward to hosting in 2015.
Warren HS also won in the Penny Wars competition against Downey. Both schools collected donations during school hours for Spirit Week. For the loss, Downey’s band directors, Mr. Olariu and Mr. Guerrero must wear the Warren’s Spirit Wear during the school day of the Warren vs Downey football game!
Thank you to all who participated and showed their support! Go Bears!
Warren HS and Downey HS are competing at the 3rd Annual Battle of the Bands next Thursday night, October 16th from 6:30pm- 8:30pm. The event will be hosted at the Downey HS stadium.
